Roman Zaslavsky has the
reputation of being a musician with a highly intellectual approach and
passionate interpretation. His performances on international stages
include among many others: Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Recital Hall of the
Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Palau de la Musica in Madrid, Barcelona and
Valencia, the Salle Gaveau in Paris and the Tel-Aviv Museum of Arts.
Mr. Zaslavsky’s highlights in 08/09 and 09/10 include, among others,
performances of Rachmaninov’s concerto
No. 2 with the
Budapest Radio Symphony Orchestra
under Laszlo Kovacs at the
famous festival Ediecigiornate di Brescia
in Brescia, Italy, and in Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova under Michail
Jurowski, Beethoven’s concerto No. 5 in Saarbrücken, Germany with the
State Symphony Orchestra of Saarland
under Constantin Trinks as well
as concerts with the Brussels
Philharmonic under Michel
Tabachnik. He gives solo recitals in Israel and duo recitals with
cellist Gavriel Lipkind in
Hamburg Musikhalle,
Frankfurt’s Hessischer Rundfunk, and on tour in Holland and Japan,
where he performed in May 2008 among others in the prestigious
Oji Hall in Tokyo. An avid
performer of chamber music, Mr. Zaslavsky will perform at the
Zeist Musicfestival in Holland
and the Gaia Festival in Thun,
Switzerland. His recently recorded new CD „German Recital“ will be
released on Value Entertainment Music in April 2010.
Mr. Zaslavsky is a top prizewinner of the
renowned international piano and chamber music competitions. In the year
2000 he was the only Winner
of the Vendome Prize International Piano Competition in Cologne
and was awarded the prestigious Primer
Grand Premio at the Jose
Iturbi International Piano Competition in Valencia. Roman Zaslavsky won also the 4th prize at the
Citta die Senigallia International
Piano Competition in Italy and
the 2nd prize at the 3rd Hamamatsu
Academy International Piano Competition in Japan. Together
with Gavriel Lipkind he was awarded the 3rd prize and the Special Prize
for the best Interpretation of a Brahms Sonata at the
Trio di Trieste International
Chamber Music Competition and the 3rd prize at the
V. Gui International Chamber Music Competition in Italy.
