children and young people to classical music.

The Magic of Music
was conceived as the union of a musical ensemble and a magician-illusionist who
acts as a conductor. Throughout the show, the ensemble introduces several
important composers. In turn, the magician offers brief explanations about the
instruments, the works and the musical epochs presented. He does this in a light
way, with some minor magic tricks, interacting with the musicians and the public.
During the performance, a violin flies through the air, the cellist disappears,
a bow strikes over the strings by itself, and so on.
|
|
While enjoying the magic,
children and young people unwittingly learn
and experience classical music
in a fun way.
The concert
consists of ten works from relevant composers such as Vivaldi, Mozart,
Handel, Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Melesio Morales, among others. As
part of the interaction with the audience, a music contest is held.
The winners will receive a CD of classical music related to the show.
