The concert that the Sergipe Symphony presented was amazing. The Symphony and its conductor Guilherme Mannis performed a beautiful presentation and demonstrated that with state support it is possible to make good music outside the traditional centers (which does not mean it is common to perform good music in the traditional centers...)”
Nelson Rubens Kunze, Concert Review, June 2009.

" The most recent and happy surprise comes from the Sergipe (...). The orchestra surprised the present audience at a surprisingly crowded Sala São Paulo, in the midst of a Sunday full of good cultural choices. Strings cohesive, refined brass balanced with the whole orchestra and woodwinds that have played a remarkable performance not only in section, as well as in solo passages (...). Yes, an orchestra of the Northeast of Brazil can surprise this audience who sees and hears everything. )"
NLeonardo Martinelli, Portal “Concerto”, 05/19/2009.
